Making a value that appears many times in a document (a company name, a deadline) changeable in one place.

It updated the places it was asked about but missed two other pages showing the same value. Because it checked only the places it was asked about, the misses went unnoticed.

Check it yourself

After the change, search the whole project for the old literal value (grep -rn "old value" . in a folder; Find across all pages in a document). It should appear only in the one place where it is now set.
