Treated "couldn't measure" the same as "failed"
Data cleanup
- Situation
- Listing check results with pass/fail marks. Some items couldn't be measured because the conditions weren't met.
- What the AI did
- It gave the items it couldn't measure the same mark as "failed." The next person to read the list took it to mean those items had a problem.
- How to ask next time (the operator's example)
- "Split results into three: 'pass,' 'fail,' and 'couldn't measure,' and give the reason for each one that couldn't be measured."
- One question to ask
- Do the results have a "couldn't measure" category?
- Check it yourself
- For each item marked "failed," ask for the measured value behind it. An item with no value was not measured, and belongs in its own column.
