Situation: Making a multi-page document for print and checking how it looks.
What the AI did: It counted the pages correctly but checked the appearance of page 1 only, and missed the layout breaking from page 2 on.
How to ask next time (the site author's example): "For printed material, look at every page one by one and report whether each page has a problem. Say which pages you didn't look at."
One question to ask: How many pages are there, and will you look at every one?
Check it yourself: Turn the PDF into one image per page (pdftoppm -png file.pdf page, from poppler) and ask for one line per image. The number of lines should equal the page count.
