Swapped in new sentences that no longer fit the ones around them

Situation: Replacing three sentences in an internal notice with suggested rewrites.
What the AI did: It wrote the rewrites looking only at the sentences being replaced. In place, they didn't connect with what came before and after, and used words found nowhere else in the document. All three had this problem.
How to ask next time (the operator's example): "Show each rewrite together with the paragraphs before and after it. After replacing, read it through and check the flow and that the wording matches."
One question to ask: How much of the text around the sentence will be read?
Check it yourself: Ask for the whole paragraph with the change in place, not the sentence alone, and search the document for each new term the rewrite brings in. A term that appears nowhere else deserves a second look.
