Copied the number of items from a reference, not the reason for it
Any kind of task
- Situation
- Building a list screen modeled on a reference screen that showed about 30 items.
- What the AI did
- To match the reference's density, it added items until there were about 30. Most of the added items did nothing when clicked; for the people using the screen, they were just decoration.
- How to ask next time (the operator's example)
- "The number in the reference is not the target. Tell me what that number is for, then build it. Read the rules and similar work we already have first."
- One question to ask
- For each number copied from the reference, what is that number for?
- Check it yourself
- After it is built, click every item once and ask for a list of the ones that do nothing. Each item should either do something or be removed.
